Wilmer Valderrama Biography / Pictures
Wilmer Valderrama
(Born
January 30,
1980 in
Miami, Florida) is a
Venezuelan/Colombian-American
comic actor. He is most
famous as the fictional
character "Fez" in the
sitcom That '70s Show and as
the ex-boyfriend of
actress/singers Lindsay
Lohan and Mandy Moore. He is
the only person to have been
Punk'd three times.
Wilmer Valderrama moved
with his family to Los
Angeles from Venezuela in
1994. Although when he
arrived in the USA he could
barely speak English, by
1998 Valderrama was acting
professionally. That year,
he made his TV debut on The
Disney Channel series "Omba
Makomba" and then became a
regular on the Fox sitcom
"That '70s Show" (1998- ).
While still attending high
school, Valderrama got a lot
of laughs on the retro
comedy as Fez, a foreign
student trying to acclimate
to suburban American society
while struggling with the
language and customs, a role
not unlike his own life just
a few years before. In 2001,
Valderrama made his big
screen debut as a virginal
baseball player in the
comedy "Summer Catch".
