Career
Barton began her acting career at age nine in New
York Theatre with a lead role in Tony Kushner’s
Slavs! She also played in Where the Truth Lies and
One Flea Spare at the New York Shakespeare Festival.
Her feature film was Lawn Dogs, debuting in 1998.
She has played key roles in The Sixth Sense and
Notting Hill. She is best known for her role as
Marissa Cooper on television’s The O.C.
She also has modeled - one of her most prominent
clients was Calvin Klein. She has also been in
advertisements for Aéropostale and Dooney and
Bourke. Mischa is currently a spokesperson for
Neutrogena and Keds sneakers. She will be featured
in the Ked's upcoming Spring collection.
Barton also starred in Enrique Iglesias's music
video for "Addicted".
