Claire Danes Biography / Pictures

 which she won a Golden Globe Award and received an Emmy nomination, followed by her role as Juliet in Baz Luhrmann's 1996 film William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet. After attending the highly elite private school The Dalton School in New York City, Danes graduated from Yale in 2002.

For a number of years she and Australian singer Ben Lee dated, but their relationship ended in 2003. She is now dating Billy Crudup, who left his common-law spouse, actress Mary Louise Parker who was 8 months pregnant with their child, for Danes, with whom he co-starred in Princess Mononoke and Stage Beauty.

Claire Danes was banned from the philippines in 1999 for making rude remarks about the country upon filming Brokedown Palace.
